Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate, melted

Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, (or nut butter of choice)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp coconut flour
  • splash vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Line a silicone candy mold or mini muffin tin with a thin layer of melted chocolate, using the back of a spoon to press some chocolate up the sides. Place the mold in the freezer for about 15 minutes to set.
  • In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut flour, and a splash of vanilla until smooth and evenly mixed. The coconut flour will thicken the mixture so it can be shaped.
  • Roll the filling into small balls that will fit inside each chocolate cup. Gently press one ball into the center of each chilled chocolate shell.
  • Carefully pour or spoon the remaining melted chocolate over each filled cup, covering the peanut butter completely. Return the mold to the freezer and chill for about 30 minutes, or until fully set.
  • Once the chocolate is hardened, pop the candies from the mold, sprinkle with flaky salt if desired, and enjoy.

Notes

Store these homemade cups in an airtight container at room temperature for several days. For longer freshness, refrigerate or freeze them. If frozen, let them sit briefly at room temperature before serving for best texture.
