I don’t mean to alarm you, but Thanksgiving is only a month away and Christmas is just 64 days off.
It may feel distant now, but the holidays will arrive before you know it.
I’m excited to share that the Gluten Free & More Holiday Favorites special collector’s edition is available to help you plan a flawless gluten-free feast or get-together.
This edition includes 112 recipes covering everything from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day — appetizers to desserts, brunch to dinner — plus several giftable treats to make and share.
The Holiday Favorites edition is available in stores now, or you can purchase it online.
To give you a taste of what’s inside, here’s one of my favorite pies: a Gluten-Free Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie. It comes together quickly and is always a crowd-pleaser. If you prefer to skip the bourbon, simply omit it; the pie will still be wonderful as a Maple Pecan Pie.

Gluten Free Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon kosher or fine sea salt
- 1½ cups finely chopped pecans
- 1 9-inch gluten-free pie crust, unbaked
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until smooth. Add the maple syrup, melted butter, bourbon (if using), vanilla, and salt. Stir in the pecans.
-
Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust and bake 50 to 60 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let the pie cool before serving.
