Strawberry sorbet is incredibly simple to make with the Ninja Creami. This recipe uses just three ingredients and yields a bright, refreshing sorbet that’s perfect for hot summer days.

I love ice cream, but I often pick sorbet when the weather heats up. The pure fruit flavor feels especially cold and refreshing on sweltering days.
When I discovered the Ninja Creami can make sorbet, I knew I’d be making batches all summer. This strawberry sorbet is quick, requires only a few pantry staples, and is adaptable depending on whether you use fresh or frozen berries.
I plan to make this at least once a week during warm months. If you use frozen strawberries, you may need to add a splash of liquid while blending to get a smooth puree.
Ingredients
- Strawberries (about 16 ounces)
- Sugar or agave nectar (about 1/4 cup; reduce to 3 tablespoons for a less sweet sorbet)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon to brighten the flavor)

How to make Ninja Creami strawberry sorbet
Start by washing the strawberries and removing the stems. Place the strawberries, sugar (or agave), and lemon juice in a blender.

Blend the mixture until completely smooth. If you used frozen strawberries and the blender struggles, add a tablespoon or two of water to help it combine.

Pour the blended strawberry puree into the Ninja Creami pint and freeze for at least 24 hours to ensure it is fully solid.
If you prefer a seed-free texture, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve before freezing, though I usually leave the seeds in.

When the pint is frozen solid, process it on the Sorbet setting of your Ninja Creami. If the sorbet comes out crumbly, add a small splash of water (or a teaspoon of lemon juice) and respin until smooth.

The finished sorbet should be silky and scoopable.

Scoop into bowls and serve immediately for the best texture.

Enjoy!

Recipe tips
- Frozen strawberries work well, but you may need to add a little water when blending to help the puree come together.
- To store leftovers, smooth the surface, freeze, and reprocess in the Creami for a minute before serving to refresh the texture.
- This sorbet can be made in the Ninja Creami or the Creami Deluxe.
- For a less sweet result, use 3 tablespoons of sugar instead of 1/4 cup.
