Author Catherine’s Plates
Ingredients
- 1–2 lbs pork chops boneless or bone-in
- 1 envelope Ranch dressing mix
- 1 envelope brown gravy mix
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 TBS cornstarch
- 2 TBS water
- fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
-
In the crockpot, whisk together the Ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, beef broth, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
-
Add the pork chops to the mixture, making sure they are submerged in the sauce.
-
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the pork is tender and cooked through.
-
When the pork is done, remove the chops to a serving plate. In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and water to form a smooth slurry, then stir it into the crockpot juices. Cook on high for a few minutes, stirring, until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency.
-
Serve the pork chops topped with the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and enjoy.
