On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but a few familiar favorites still belong on the list because they’re relatively new to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and knew it had to be included.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the Wasatch Front mountains, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before an outing. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon for a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. Drive-through burritos from other spots can be greasy and heavy, and that sometimes leaves me feeling off when I’m about to be active. Beaumont strikes a better balance.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce — a creamy tomatillo esc dressing that brings brightness and depth. The right sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and Beaumont gets it right.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are solid, and the burrata salad is a standout. Beaumont is reliable for both quick takeout and a leisurely sit-down meal. Keep in mind that popularity brings crowds — weekends often draw a line of customers. If you only want pastries and coffee, it’s easy to pop in or use the drive-through, but if you plan to dine in, expect a wait on busy weekend mornings. The patio and interior are both beautiful, making it a pleasant place to linger when you have the time.
