Rich Sticky Toffee Sauce Recipe for Desserts and Puddings

Ingredients:
1 ounce butter
2 ounces dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons syrup

Directions:
Place the butter, dark brown sugar and syrup in a small saucepan.
Heat gently over low to medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly.
Remove from the heat and let it sit for a moment to cool and thicken a little more.
Pour the sauce over freshly popped popcorn, ice cream, cake or fruit and serve.

Servings: Makes enough for several servings, depending on how much you use.
