These 3-ingredient Banana Cookies are vegan and gluten-free. With just three simple ingredients and fifteen minutes, you can make a healthy, tasty cookie.

It may seem surprising, but mashed banana, rolled oats, and chocolate chips baked together become a delicious, wholesome cookie. These cookies are naturally simple and rely on the natural sweetness of banana for flavor and moisture.
The first time I made these 3-ingredient Banana Cookies, I was amazed they tasted so good with such a short ingredient list. There’s a little added sugar from dark chocolate chips, but no other sweeteners are required. If you prefer no added sugar, you can use stevia-sweetened chocolate chips instead.
One of the best things about these cookies is how fast they come together: about five minutes to mix and ten minutes to bake. In roughly fifteen minutes you’ll have a treat that’s wholesome enough to serve for breakfast or as a snack.
I use a 1:2 ratio of mashed banana to oats. I measure my mashed banana (about 2 1/2 medium bananas yields 1 cup mashed), then add the oats and chocolate chips before baking. I portion the cookies with a scoop and don’t flatten them — I find they hold together better and have a nice, slightly domed shape that way.
Right out of the oven these cookies are tempting, but they firm up best when cooled completely. I let them cool on the cookie sheet until they are set. Once cooled, they keep well in an airtight container on the counter or stored in the refrigerator.
I hope your family enjoys these as much as mine does!
